Chinatown’s Virtuous Pie
Virtuous Pie in Chinatown focuses on plant-based foods which includes their nut based cheese, plant based ice-cream and creative pizza’s.
I ordered the Kim-Jack, Hoisin Crema, Cashew Mozzarella, Kimchi, Gochujang Braised Jackfruit, Roast Broccolini, Scallion.
The crust surprisingly held up, even after being in a takeout box for 10 minutes. It was nutty, spicy, salty and sweet. I couldn’t really decipher the jackfruit, it was over-powered by the kimchi. All in all it was delicious and a creative combination.
They have happy hour from 2:30 – 5:30 and 10PM – 11PM, a selection of pizza’s for $10 including the Kim-Jack. Next time I will be back for the ice-cream.
