Origo Club will celebrate Chinese New Year and Valentine’s Day in its signature inimitable style by offering a series of special Afternoon Tea services and Valentine’s Day dinner features this February.
To mark the occasion of Chinese New Year, Origo Club will extend its popular weekend Afternoon Tea service to Tuesday, February 5 through Saturday, February 9 from 1:30 to 4 p.m. and on Sunday, February 10 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. During those times, guests can pair a selection of gourmet small bites, pastries and sandwiches with a choice of coffee or tea for $45 each, with the option to add a glass of Barons de Rothschild Champagne for an additional $35 per person.
Origo Club’s exclusive Chinese New Year Afternoon Tea services offer an array of savoury delicacies such as canard et poire pochée au thym (seared duck breast, thyme poached pear) and scone au cheddar et à la ciboulette (cheddar and chive scone, butter, smoked salt, fresh cream) in addition to sweet selections like matcha mochi (glutinous rice ball, matcha whipped ganache) and biscuit chinois au sésame (white sesame fortune cookie) that pay homage to the traditional annual celebration.
On Thursday, February 14, Origo Club Head Chef David Pan will add a few Valentine’s Day specials to the dinner menu, including an entrée of tenderloin pepper steak with parsnips and fennel for $55 and a dessert course of white peach, meringue and blood orange sorbet for $16. Each table will also receive a special take-home box of milk chocolate-passionfruit truffles hand made by Pastry Chef Remi Ho.
