Edible Canada is starting to take holiday party bookings for their beautiful bistro on Granville Island. Their 2016 Holiday Private Dining Package has just been released, and the holiday menus are both innovative and full of local ingredients. A good Christmas party has three things; an interesting venue, good food and drink, and a few details which surprise and delight your guests. Edible Canada offers all three.
Edible Canada’s private demo kitchen is enclosed by elegant glass walls and a glass garage door which separates the space from the dining room. The space is equipped with a private ‘mini’ kitchen, so it is possible (but not required) to book a chef demonstration as part of the evening’s entertainment! This private space accommodates up to 32 guests for a seated meal or up to 50 guests for a cocktail reception.
A selection of seasonal set menus have been designed by Chef Matt Blais to suit different budgets and preferences. Prices per person range from a $29 ‘Luncheon Classic’ to a more elegant $59 ‘Chef’s Table’ menu. Regardless of your choice, you can count on the best quality local ingredients being used.
Accompanying these menus is a 100% Canadian wine list, sold by the bottle or paired with each course. Edible Canada also offers wide selection of local craft beers and seasonal cocktails. The beverage menu selection of your choosing will showcase up and coming local breweries, award-winning wineries, and innovative distilleries.
