Not for those low cal / non-fat latte drinkers. Meat & Bread is a hipster cafe serving deliciously rich sandwiches and soups. Now all those “diet conscious eaters” you should stop reading and eat a carrot. This review would throw your diet out the window.
The Porchetta sandwich and salad combo was a delicious. The huge strip of fat on the porchetta was delectable, what is pork without fat? Mmmm..pork fat..

It reminded me of Chinese roasted pork chop with the extra crispy skin . All this rich goodness sandwiched between grilled and buttered bread. It came with a side of Hearty Dijon potato salad with red onions, celery, egg and diced pickles. This was very decadent and oozed of cream.

Their most popular item the Braised Veal Steak sandwich, texture of meat is like pulled meat but, in bigger chunks. It came with pickled veggies, cabbage slaw in grainy Dijon Aioli. Quite juicy but lacked the wow factor.
This combo includes the Onion Veloute, once again creamy and lightly drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with some fresh croutons.

Heck of a job there, it absluoltey helps me out.
I thought finding this would be so arduous but it’s a bzeree!
